Cristiano Ronaldo Believes Manchester United Can Scoop All Five Major Honours

The match-winning World Player of the Year believes Sir Alex Ferguson's men are in a position where they can claim all the silverware on offer.

Having already won the FIFA World Club Championship and the League Cup, Manchester United remain in the most enviable of positions as they could yet add the UEFA Champions League, the FA Cup and the Premier League to their list of seasonal honours. The Mancunians remain in two semi-finals and command a lofty position in the division.
Fleet-footed trickster Ronaldo - who scored a thunderous 40-yard drive to ensure United negotiated their way past Porto last night - believes that his side have the talent at their disposal to scoop the lot.

He told British tabloid The Sun, "We have an opportunity to win everything and we are very confident that we can. We did not play fantastic in the last five or six games but we expect the next ones will be better because of what we did last night."

Regarding his own stunning effort, the Portuguese international said it is the best he has netted.

"It was a fantastic strike and I can't wait to see it again on DVD,” he smiled. “I am very happy with it.

"It is the best goal I have scored."
